‘Frozen’ star admits sneaking dirty joke into Disney movie: Buzz

One of the biggest animated films of all time has a slightly dirty joke in it, star Kristen Bell admits.
The actress, who voiced Princess Anna in the 2013 Disney movie, told Vanity Fair that she knew about a double entendre in the song “For the First Time in Forever.” Her character sings “For years I’ve roamed these empty halls / Why have a ballroom with no balls?”
“How did we get that joke in there?” Bell said. “We slid it under the radar.”
Bell said the NSFW line “almost didn’t make it in” but ended up in the final cut after the creative team downplayed its innuendo.
“…We were like, ‘What are you talking about? That’s not what it means. Don’t be a perv,’” Bell told Vanity Fair.
The actress, also known for roles on “Veronica Mars” and “The Good Place,” reprised her role opposite Idina Menzel as Queen Elsa in the 2019 sequel, “Frozen II.” A third “Frozen” movie is in the works, Disney announced last year.
