    Description

    Vintage Native American handmade leather moccasin shoes.
    These are a smaller size and appear to have been women's shoes.
    Entirely handcrafted of a thick hide leather. These appear to have been worn extensively as evidenced by the foot pattern on the soles. The outer string was perhaps used to tighten the shoes and maybe wrap around the leg in some fashion.
    Overall a very unique piece of Native American utilitarian clothing. There is almost nothing decorative, these were very much a purpose-built item.
