This is a sunken treasure map of Florida, the Bahamas, and the Gulf of Mexico. The map covers from Tampico, Mexico to Hispaniola and the Turks and Caicos Islands, and from Jacksonville and Pensacola to Jamaica. It highlights 141 shipwrecks from the late 1500s to the 1940s. Circles containing numbers indicate each wreck, with a large concentration appearing along the Florida coast. Depth soundings are noted throughout, helping to estimate just how deep each wreak rests. An inset of the Florida Keys, from Miami to the Marquesas Keys, occupies the Gulf of Mexico, implying that no wrecks would be found in this area. An index of the 141 wrecks provides some information concerning each, including the type of vessel, Latitude and Longitude, and, in some cases, the date and the circumstances of its sinking. Text boxes along the bottom border provide a crash course in the 'Laws of Sunken Treasure' and a short, suggestive history of Spanish Galleon losses in the Caribbean.
This map comes with a white border around the image
