    Description

SODA 1870s NEWTON, N.J. BRICKNER with STOPPER. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. This very tall aqua Soda or Beer bottle is 9 1/4 inches tall and 2 3/4 inches at the indented base which has a combination of letters ie; AXKHN and it makes no sense to me. It is beautifully whittled and very clean with a few nice bubbles. The wire bale is rusted which is normal due to being well over 100 years old. The porcelain stopper is original and printed in a reddish and gray color. As the story goes, this was found beneath an old Victorian porch many years ago and was never buried. This is a very heavy bottle with faint scuffing and light haze but has no cracks or cracks etc. and all Original. It has a beautifully tooled top and very nice. A.B. Brickner was located in Newton, N.J. And the words: THIS BOTTLE NOT TO BE SOLD is heavily embossed. Great bottle for your collection.
