This item is in used condition and has not been tested. There are several scratches and minor bends/imperfections in the metal casing. These defects dont appear to affect the functionality of the unit.
This checklist is used to facilitate and record the testing of used laptops for key functionality.
Tester Notes: DO NOT PURCHASE FROM US IF YOU ARE USING A FORWARDING COMPANY. IF YOU DO, YOU WILL VOID OUT ALL RETURN POLICIES AND SALE IS FINAL.
Any failures of the key functions that cannot be repaired in testing may not be evaluated by T4T

All devices that include a Hard Drive are using a WIPED drive.
After each drive is wiped, Windows 10 is imaged to the computer.
Some of the images will have a custom T4T theme applied - however, no personal data will be on the drive.

Working computers can provide a new life to struggling veterans rather than being discarded.
Many veterans face two significant barriers when competing in the modern workforce: the lack of a computer and the lack of the skills needed to effectively use that computer.
T4T supports these veterans by collecting used technology that would usually end up in landfills, then refurbishing the laptops and other devices.
They provide the reloaded technology, along with training, to veterans in need for low or no cost.
Who We Are:
Tech For Troops was started in Richmond, Virginia by a mother and son team who were passionate about military veterans in need and wanted to do something to help. In 2013 after hearing about the force reductions and a huge number of returning soldiers, they decided to collect used PCs and Macs, refurbish them, and provide them to veterans? support organizations.
Since then we've grown to support veterans nationwide and continue to look for ways to offer workforce support and training.

Tech For Troops is dedicated to empowering Veterans with computers, skills,  and Information Technology (IT) workforce training.

Product returns (Forwarded and International buyers not protected)
T4T will accept returns within 30 days of the purchase date and in most cases will pay for the return shipping, as compliant with policies detailed:
100% refund with return shipping covered, contact T4T within 72 hours of delivery - package is unopened and immediately returned on delivery (item refusal). Package arrives DOA (see details below) or other than described. Send us a message, and we'll work closely with the buyer to resolve any situation.
Following the 72 hours from delivery, a minimum 5% restocking fee per business day will apply. If the item is returned damaged or in a condition other than what was shipped, a restocking fee equal to the value difference will be applied. Intentional damaging or removal of parts may result in an inflated restocking fee, and the buyer will be reported to eBay.
T4T reserves the right to accept or decline any return for any reason. In most cases, just communicate with us and we'll provide the best customer service we can.

Payment
Payment via PayPal is preferred. No outside orders,
rain-checks
, or payments processed outside of eBay will be considered, and the buyer will be immediately reported to eBay for requesting it.
Buy-it-Now buyers are required to pay immediately.
Auction bidders are required to pay within 24 hours of closing for that auction. In the event that payment is not received within 48 hours, eBay will automatically open an unpaid item(s) case per listing. In the event that eBay opens a case, it will be closed once the buyer completes the payment. If the buyer does not complete payment by the date set by case opened by eBay, eBay or T4T may close the case and a negative remark will be noted on the buyers account by eBay.

Shipping
United States ONLY (no international shipping offered. Forwarding addresses not protected by eBay or T4T)
T4T's carrier of choice is UPS via Ground shipments. Most listings will charge calculated shipping based on at least the weight of the item(s). In the event that shipping is more than the calculated amount, and the shipment is compliant with the outlined policies within the United States, T4T assumes
responsibility
to pay the difference and the buyer will not be asked to pay additional shipping charges.
The buyer is responsible for having accurate information on their eBay and PayPal accounts. T4T will NOT ship to alternative addresses requested by the buyer. T4T will NOT ship items internationally. If you're an international buyer, or buying with the intent of forwarding to another address, or the listing details item(s) may be shipped by T4T out of the country - it is in error, and neither T4T or eBay will not be responsible for items shipped outside of the United States or forwarded to another address.
Shipping Continued - Forwarding of Packages are NOT PROTECTED
T4T does not support the use of Forwarding addresses or purchasing packages with the intent of shipping them to an alternative address than the one featured on the buyer's account. T4T reserves the right to decline shipment, sale(s), blacklist, reporting of these addresses, and the buyer's using them, as it is in violation of eBay policies and a violation of the listing policies outlined. NOTE: the buyer is NOT protected in these situations. Your item is ineligible for refund or return. Please, do not buy from us if you intend to break these policies by using forwarding addresses.
Handling
T4T packages and ships items Monday through Friday! If payment is collected by 12 pm EST, a shipment label will likely be generated the same day. If after 12PM EST, the shipment will be made ASAP, typically by noon the following business day. Our location is on a daily pick-up (Monday - Friday), and the trucks arrive typically by 4 pm EST. If the listing closes after 12 pm EST on a Friday, please expect the shipment to process on Monday.
NOTE: If there is no change in tracking by 5 pm EST on Monday the following week, contact T4T ASAP so we may work toward a resolution and update you on the shipment status.
Our carrier is FAST - some packages arrive the next day, while others may take up to 5+ business days when shipping to the West Coast. For the most accurate information, follow the tracking details provided to the buyer through eBay. T4T is not responsible for shipping delays once the package is collected by the carrier. If an item takes more than 10 days to arrive once it is picked up by the carrier, a case will be opened against the carrier and the buyer will be notified. In the event that the package is lost by the carrier or otherwise unable to be delivered to the buyer, they will be notified and refunded the full purchase amount.
DOA - Dead on Arrival
Sometimes items may arrive damaged or may be "other than described" because of the carrier used to deliver the item(s) featured. If a damaged package arrives, the seller is asked to make documentation for record so that a case be opened by T4T against the carrier. T4T assumes responsibility to deliver as described. The buyer is responsible for properly documenting damages, and reporting to T4T within 72 hours of package arrival.
Pictures of the packaging prior to opening should be captured - graphic evidence should continue to be captured as the package is opened. Once the packing material is removed, the content(s) should also be photographed and inspected. In the event that the content(s) are damaged and otherwise not as described, contact T4T immediately within 72 hours so a claim may be started, and a return/exchange/refund process may be started.
