LEXICON MC1 DIGITAL CONTROLLER flashing lights CLEAN WITH REMOTE

auction includes the MC1 unit and the original remote as shown
instead of function well, it has the flashing lights
apparently   there is a fix for this, but i am not sure about how to do it.
the unit looks good with a little wear on the volume knob and on top....see photos
remote works and is clean inside and out
