KRELL KSA 80B CLASS A AMPLIFIER

Description

From Krell we have the exceptional Krell KSA 80B Class A amplifier. This model has both unbalanced inputs and the ultra rare Balanced input option.  Just a spectacular looking amp this model was put through its paces on our bench and in one of our house systems. On the bench, the Krell
ran at full power for two hours where it passed and was within specifications. The capacitors show no sign of leakage or swelling.  This Class A amplifier can push very difficult loads without taxing it at all. We have enjoyed listening and looking at this piece of audio art.  The unit was well taken care of and was the heart of an amazing system we purchased. The faceplate is perfect the fins are all in near perfect condition as well. The top has a small scratch at front left center, and the back has a few light scuffs. The back clear coated aluminum handles have some scratches on them.  They are aluminum so they could easily be stripped of the clear coat, and refinished, if one should so choose.  I point these things out but as it sits this unit is simply stunning.
